Well, it’s not beer, but San Diego Food Not Lawns will be hosting a fermentation workshop next week as part of their week-long Edible City Celebration. Learn how to make ginger ale and kimchee.

Learn how to make kimchee and ginger ale. Ginger ale making is now even easier than ever. We’ll be sharing the latest recipe that allows people to brew a batch of ginger ale in just 24 hours using standard baker’s yeast, sugar and ginger and a super high-tech device: a 2-liter soda bottle.
Location : City Farmer’s Nursery (4832 Home Ave 92105, at Bill’s house around back, look for signs)
