A Second Saturday Not to Miss
Hamilton’s Second Saturdays are an institution in the craft beer scene here in San Diego, a recurring celebration of local breweries and beer-friendly food. Each one showcases a different brewery, featuring a lineup of (very decently priced) beers on tap as well as complementary grub.
And it looks like September’s Second Saturday is one for the history books, folks. Ballast Point will be bringing in the works. There will be Sculpin AND Dorado on cask; multiple vintages of Victory at Sea, and many of the small-release beers including Abandon Ship Rauchbier and Sour Wench. Oh, and then there’s the food: Smoked yellowtail, wahoo ceviche, and Sea Monster Stout cakes. The event starts at 5, but I’d show up early to this one.
